AZPX ‘Not Dead Yet’ Series #3 – Lob Rocker

AZPX has teamed up once again with legendary skate artist Sam Esmoer to create some original designs to share. In true collaborative spirit, we enlisted master lensman Dan McCabe to provide some inspiration for Sam to create the AZPX ‘Not Dead Yet’ Artist Series. We picked some killer skateboarding photos that Dan took. Sam is doing his thing appropriating each image into his insane style of Arizona inspired art.

#3 is a Dan McCabe photo of AZPX owner/operator Rob Locker, Lob Rocker, Rock Lobster, Lock Robster, Rubber Toe, Stainus, whatever nickname he has that day. Sam had no idea about my dearly departed Chihuahua ‘Pedro’ when he added the dog to the image. When I first saw it I shed a tear. If you knew him, Pedro was the BIGGEST little asshole to walk the earth. Sam just happens to have a Chihuahua too! Super stoked and honored to be a part of this project!
