Jon Yousko, lead singer for Phoenix’s Junior Achievement/The Harvest is also a ripping skateboarder. Yousko has a treasure trove of images from early/mid 1980’s skateboarding in Arizona and is sharing them here exclusively at azpx.com with some rad stories to go with them.
A couple of shots from a backyard ramp contest in Paradise Valley at Bob Darnell’s ramp. Frontside Air and a Thruster on an original Gonz deck. Great contest, I ended up in second place with Tom Conley taking first.
