The Music Videos from JFA’s ‘Last Ride’ LP

JFA Last Ride Videos

Stage Dive

“Stage Dive” is a video by JFA from the Last Ride LP on DC-Jam Records. It showcases classic 80s punk rock photography by Edward Colver. Edited by Brian Brannon.

Desert Pipes

“Desert Pipes,” the second single of JFA’s upcoming Last Ride LP. The song pays sonic tribute to the gargantuan concrete cylinders that were found throughout the desert of Arizona in the late 70s. Video footage captures the hearty crew of young rippers that braved the threat of rattlesnakes, scorpions and security guards. They explored the upper reaches of the over-vertical realm in defiance of the laws of gravity and men. Filmed, produced and edited by Steve (PING!) Pingleton https://desertpipes.com/

Keyser Söze

“Keyser Söze” video by JFA from the Last Ride LP on DC-Jam Records. Video shot, edited and produced by Mason Locker.

Fort Point

The inspiration for Fort Point came from the time JFA guitarist Don Redondo and (then-Ocean Beach local) singer Brian Brannon, surfed the world-famous point break under the Golden Gare Bridge. There were seals in the water (and probably a few sharks). There was a body boarder wearing a devil costume. He had a pitchfork strapped to his back and it wasn’t anywhere near Halloween. This led Brian to surmise that Death rides a boogie board.
The current ‘‘twas so strong that a girl surfer got swept out into the channel underneath the bridge right where merchant shipping was steaming by. Despite doing her very best to paddle the other way. Don and Brian ended up far outside. They were looking at the other side of the bridge from seaward. Both ended up catching waves all the way around the point. Successfully negotiating a rock so big that it has its own name: The Rhino. .
Big thanks to Team Pierre, who has surfed and fished Ft Point for 30 years. He graciously lent his smooth dance moves to the tune. Big thanks as well to Pete Koff of Avenue Films for all the shooting and editing. Pete really captured the spirit of the song!
