Johnny was a punk
His father was a drunk
His sister shot junk
His brother beat him up
Then one day
He had to get away
So he called his friend Ray
And he yelled hey

Take me to the show
I really got to go
Been stressing don’t you know
My mind’s about to blow
Knew what he had to do
He met up with the crew
And out of the blue
He launched into

A stage dive
Stage dive
Stage dive
Why you looking
At your phone
Look out below

Dude jumped onto the stage
Bouncer flew into a rage
The look on his face
Said he was going to make him pay
It was time to take flight
Or get into a fight
So he exited stage right
And sailed into the night

Drums began to pound
The bassist went to town
Guitar made a wall of sound
People slamming all around
Singer screamed really loud
And flipped into the crowd
But he went straight down
And pile drived into the ground

Stage dive
Stage dive
Stage dive
Straight to the dome
Wasn’t moving anymore

Stage dive
Stage dive
Stage dive
It can be a calamity
When the crowd parts
Like the Red Sea
I should know
It happened to me
There’s blood on the floor
